Hey, I’m Jesse Friedman.
I’ve been building online experiences for 22 years, and exclusively with WordPress since 2006. I’ve authored several books, written for magazines and publications, and taught 100’s of students as a professor, and organized dozens of local meetups along with a few WordCamps.
You may have seen me speak at tech conferences worldwide and I’ve utilized my expertise as a consultant for small agencies and billion-dollar international companies.
I am the inventor and founder of Muryō a method and tool for cataloging your notes, drawings, and journal entries, all while tracking your mood, habits, sleep, and goals.
I currently work at Automattic and I’ve been here since 2014 through an acquisition of BruteProtect a company I co-founded that same year. Today I focus my efforts on product, marketing, and strategic partnerships as the Director of Innovation for Jetpack and Automattic.
